Devils Lake is the largest natural
lake in North Dakota and one of its most scenic areas.
It contains 280 miles of shoreline and 55,000 acres of
water. There are four state recreation areas and two
state parks located on its shores. Grahams Island State Park is the largest and most developed of these areas. Devils Lake is revered
among walleye and northern pike fisherman for both the
size and quantity of the fish caught here.
The Black Tiger State Recreation Area
has a boat ramp and camping facilities on the lakeshore.
Its high bluffs afford
panoramic views of the lake and Badlands. Grahams Island has a
large marina and is popular among boaters and water
skiers. www.state.nd.us/ndparks/parks/dlsp.htm
