OH, Wayne National Forest

Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains are the dense forests of the Wayne National Forest. A home to wildlife that includes deer, turkey, gray fox, the pileated woodpecker, and ruffled grouse.

The Covered Bridge Scenic Byway (Rt 26) from Marietta north to Woodsfield covers some of Ohio's most scenic countryside. Traveling along the Little Muskingum River the byway has 5 campgrounds that are available on a first-come first-served basis.
