Nestled in a dense virgin pine forest
with seven lakes is, as its name implies,
one of Minnesota's most scenic State Parks. Offering some excellent fishing for northern
pike in its surrounding lakes. There are also 15 miles of hiking trails, canoe and boat rentals.
Wildlife includes deer, loons, bald eagles,
osprey, black bear, beaver, timber wolves and moose. The
park has 117 campsites with twenty (20) of these sites having
